The objective of the Navlakha Mahal project was to transform a culturally significant heritage site into an immersive digital experience centre dedicated to the life and teachings of Swami Dayananda Saraswati.Looming Technologies Pvt. Ltd. set out to design a future-ready experiential space that preserves spiritual history while appealing to today's tech-driven audiences. The goal was to make the palace not just a monument, but a living narrative space powered by immersive technology and storytelling.
The concept was to create a Mixed Reality (MR) based metaverse experience inside Navlakha Mahal, allowing visitors to interact with and explore key moments from Swami Dayananda Saraswati’s journey. Our approach fused heritage architecture with immersive digital overlays, enabling users to visually and emotionally engage with philosophical teachings, reformist milestones, and the Arya Samaj movement. Through MR, the palace would act as a portal into a visually guided exploration of India's Vedic knowledge and reformist heritage.
Looming Technologies implemented an MR-based interactive storytelling system featuring digitally reconstructed environments, character-driven narratives, and gesture-based user interactions. Inside the heritage building, we designed custom content zones where visitors could experience holographic storytelling, ambient soundscapes, and guided metaverse journeys. The installation was carefully mapped to architectural details to maintain authenticity while delivering a seamless fusion of physical and virtual elements. Spatial audio, responsive lighting, and intuitive controls enhanced the immersive quality of the experience.
